Advanced Member Posts: 625 Group: Advanced Members Member #2,399 Joined: December 16, 2007	Well, ya'll, the reason that I know I am supposed to be here[even though at times I question my relevance for a heartbeat or two,LOL] for the Lord has performed these things for me since my birth. At 7mo. I almost starved to death because of a birth defect in my upper stomach, they cut me in half to fix the problem. Between then and the age of 5, I had multiple operations to correct a urinary disorder and in the process had an allergic reaction to pennicillin and almost died. At approx. 8yrs. I ate a piece of cabbage with DDT on it, and did not even get sick. At approx. 15 I was in a car wreck that turned a 70 TransAm into a pretzel; the vehicle was going 135mph. when we left the road, I happened to be looking at the speedometer; and struck a telephone pole about 4 or 5 feet in the air, breaking it off at that point. I only recieved minor abrasions and bruises. At 18 I fell out of a 72 Grand Prix at the approx. speed of 60mph. and rolled across a field coming to a stop beside the car, which was embedded into a moblie home[the grill of the car was projecting into a girl's bedroom, she was a Believer and was not hurt, but has since went home]. Only cracked a bone in my foot connected to my little toe, no doctor visit,,still here:-) At 21 a woman pulled out in front of me[I was driving a 70 Malibu] and I struck her broadside going 55mph.[was looking at meter]. Cut my head open, a few stitches, I am still here:-)The front end of the car was compressed to the size of the engine block. In 86, on Dec. 31, about 1:00AM, I had an almost head on collision which totalled both vehicles in a major way. I was very sore after this, but, am still here:-) Jan. 2, 1987,,God, blessed be His Name, delivered me from the bondage to alcohol, and healed the disease of alcoholism and I have never taken a drink since. The only alcohol that enters my body is when it is part of the medication that I am taking[nyquill, etc..] Now, this is MY promise to Him for delivering and healing me from alcoholism, and only concerns me and no other. ***************************************************** There are probably more, but I can't recall them at this particuar moment, LOL:-) If Dave-BNBIH(SS) was not meant to be here, then He has had ample opportunity to take me home. I was saved in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the LSU campus while attending a literary rally when I was 15yrs. old, and my maternal grandad was a Baptist Hellfire and damnation preacher, so I was no stranger to the Word. I can remember reading my maternal grandma's little white KJV Bible while sitting under her counter at 8yrs. I can not tell you what I was getting out of it, but I was reading it. I started school at the age of 5, and know what persecution is for I was the littlest one in class, so little, in fact, that the First grade teacher tried to hold me back so that,'He can grow up a little.' Daddy went ballistic and shot that idea in the head. I have always been a bookworm, so was persecuted because I did not participate in sports very much, and now I dispise almost ALL sports because of the constant pushing of this bunk on the populace[it is their own fault, yeah, I know]. I did not intend to run on for so long here, and this may be the wrong place to post this, but it does explain that I am here because Daddy wants me here. If it is only to reach one little one, then all that I have gone through is more than worth it. Tears come to my eyes now as I just thank Him for the opportunity to be counted in these days of prophetic outpouring, knowing that He is always faithful and true, and that He has never forsaken me, even when I did not fellowship with Him as I should. He took ALL my sins upon Himself, and without details I will testify that my sins by theirself were a load. Blessing and Honor and Glory and Magisty be unto Him who never sleeps and who watches over me day and night, Amen! Maranatha!!!

I too should've been dead a number of times.........each time an incident passes I think to myself.......well, I guess He's not done with me yet!! Wonder what else He needs me to do ........!!!
