Healing for my daughter

Some of you might remember that I have a child with a disability. She was born with hip dysplasia and it was caught after a lot of damage was already done to the structure of her hip sockets and joints.

Last year she had to start using a wheel chair for school and other things like long shopping trips, amusement parks, the state fair, etc. When she doesn't use her wheelchair she limps and has visible trouble walking.

Yesterday was chapel day at school. For some reason the kids prayed for my DD to be healed. DD called me, crying that she had been healed.
When I picked her up she wasn't using her wheel chair but I still see her limping.

Please pray with us that God will truly heal this child. She is in her senior year of high school and I have been so concerned about how she's going to make it around a collage campus next year. She is so smart and wants to go to school.

A healing for her would have to be a true miracle because God would have to re-do the structure of her frame and muscles, ligaments, tendons and everything in certain areas of her body.

...Please, Lord give me the faith to believe for this...

If you read all of this I sure do thank you...It turned out kind of long. :smile

Thanks Domino.

Her foot still turns out when she walks but she has been going to school without a wheelchair, telling everyone she's been healed, and says she feels fine.

Praise God for her faith! :amen

It's refreshing to hear of a young believer actually "walking' out their faith. This is precious and K and I are praying that the Lord continues to provide both the faith to be healed and the reward that comes with exercising the very faith that pleases Him so.

If you believe you have what you ask for, IT WILL BE DONE, for it IS GOD'S WILL that his "sunflower" be made whole.

Jesus WILL heal DD completely. :nodding :hug

Hello Horizon,

Is your Daughter a candidate for hip replacement and therapy?

I know that the Lord can do miracles out right but he can also use modern day surgery to heal. I say this because the Lord asked me to pray for anything I wanted, even if it seemed impossible and so I asked for 20/20 vision. I had such bad eye-sight I could no longer drive legally. Of course, I was thinking that one day I would wake up with perfect sight, but it didn't happen that way, I got the money miraculously and as it turned out I was a candidate for Lasik surgery.

I now have 20/20 vision, the Lord was faithful to answer my prayer and I am now living in the reality of the answered prayer. Believe me, if money is the issue to have any surgery, or you or your DD are afraid, then trust the Lord and not only will he lead you to the doctor and the money, and the therapists, but he assured me that it would be the Lord Himself actually doing the surgery in the spirit.

I am praying for your Daughter:

May the Lord speak to her, comfort her, and heal her.

Jesus! I beg you to heal your child!

Jesus is faithful and heals His Children!

This we believe! Amen!

Hi 7Seven,

I asked her doctor at Shriners to go ahead and do hip replacements on her last year. We have been told over the years that hip replacements would be inevitable and Shriners will only see children until they are 18 so I wanted that for her before she lost her coverage.

The doctors wouldn't do it because of her age. They said that the first hip replacements usually works really well but only lasts about 15 years. Consecutive replacements don't usually work as well which would possibly make things worse for her later.

Thanks for sharing about your sight. The Lord does use doctors to heal, too. :clap

Hi Horizon,

I was wondering about the age factor. I'm so sorry to hear about that. But the Lord is still able to supply the needed money for her surgery after she is at an age where she will be able to get it. We must let our faith be bigger than reality, always seeing the possible in the impossible. The Lord sometimes brings the answer to our prayers in unexpected ways. We can't always see the way in which He brings about the answer to our prayers. We just trust He knows more than we know. Bless your daughter and her heart for being so brave! Bless you for your faith and perseverance! May you bring Glory to The Precious Name of JESUS!
