Hi, Keith the Dreamer here. This is a very good question. When things don't happen it does say that if people turn around God will reconsider. But when have we seen America turning around lately? Everything is to be judged and tested. That is what the light is. The place where everything can be seen for what it really is. So everything somebody says needs to be verified. This includes prophets, dreamers, the IRS and the US Government. Everything with everybody. The bereans were more excellent than these because they tested to make sure what Paul said was true. And if we're supposed to do this with an apostle are we supposed to just trust the government? No. We are to verify everything. When things don't go as predicted, it depends in my opinion on the tone and the time. If someone is saying God will do this and that, and it doesn't happen, then in my opinion that's the person taking God's seat and they need to be confronted about it. If they have a dream and it doesn't happen, that too. But when people are having dreams and messages about this time, it's often about what the wicked are going to do. And although God is faithful, they aren't. So perhaps some humility may be in order for those who speak at a minimum. And a recognition that at the very least it may be spiritual interference. In this time we should expect that. Prophets and dreamers may need to be counseled to verify things themselves before speaking. False prophecy may not happen as a result of someone deliberately deciding to say what they know is wrong. They can be deceived. And the deception of hell has never been more active. We can't do much about this other than learn, accept responsibility and forge onward. If someone expresses honest regret then such a person is your brother. Because the wicked have no remorse. And in that situation you've won your brother. I would advise against stoning, personally. We need the eyeballs in the body to be open and working right now. So if someone has thrown sand in the eyes of the body of Christ, it's better to wipe the sand out than to pluck out the eye. This may involve owning your own issues first and working on them so that you have some experience to share in learning to do better. It's all about things working. I hope this helps, Keith O |
