As some of you know I have been seeking confirmation from the Lord if I should move or not and recently that has been confirmed. What I may not have mentioned was that the word from the Lord was very specific and in fact the precise word was "You must leave here or you will die". Now being human as I am and certainly that is no excuse I took that with a "grain of salt" as it were but I left myself open to the word and sought confirmation from two or more witnesses. I've been having chest pains lately so I went to see the doctor and, you guessed it, my BP is through the roof. My life of sitting in front of the computer letting myself go without exercise has finally caught up with me. The Lord in instructing me to leave here was actually preventing that by the simple act of exercise which I haven't been getting enough of. Yes I can exercise here but the Lord obviously has other plans for me, not just getting exercise although that is a part of it. They hooked me up to a EGC and did my heart readings and while I was lying there I clearly heard the Lord speak to me and say "Fear not your heart is fine, the cause of your chest ache is your sitting in front of the computer hunched over". I mean doesn't HE choose the most awkward moments to speak? As it turned out HE was precisely correct about the cause of my chest pain. My ECG came back fine just my BP was up again confirming exactly what the Lord said. I was going to tell the Doctor I was leaving town soon but as soon as I opened my mouth the Lord told me to "say nothing of your leaving". So I said nothing. The positive parts of this is that I am fairly certain that I wouldn't be hearing all this if I didn't belong to Christ or do non Christians also heard the word of the Lord? The other thing is and this is very important: If you ARE hearing a word from the Lord I would most strongly encourage you to get confirmation from two or more witnesses and if it's confirmed then DO what HE says.!!!!!!!! It's fair to say that if you hear a word from the Lord as I did with the word die in it then you can maybe assume it's a threat, I have seen the word threat mentioned on this board. let me assure you it is NOT a threat, when the Lord says to do something HE is trying to spare his people. The Lord know more that we do and if we belong to HIM then he wants only the best for us even though it may not seem like it at the time. HE has our very best interests at heart and if I had listened to HIM months ago then I wouldn't be in this position now. These things aren't threats, they are what I term "cause and effect". The LORD loves up SOOOOO much he wants to spare us from nasty "effects" and sometimes he doesn't sometimes we go through things. I recently saw a very good pastor die from a cerebral hemmorage. People die from cancer and get ill, thats for sure, BUT HE has it all in hand if we give it to HIM. The ultimate LORDS plan for another individuals life is not mine to know. This life is fleeting, eternity is not. Bodie |

Hi bodie...I love to hear testimonies when Yah speaks to his people. Yes the Father does speak clearly to others in the same manner as He did to you. I have also had a word similar as to yours about 2 1/2 yrs ago. I was living in black canyon AZ and was not sure about the stability of our life in this area where we were. After much prayer on the matter...one day I was driving home from work and was praying asking the Father what was going to happen to me, what was I suppose to do, about our situation...and very clearly I heard Yahs voice speak to my heart saying..."PREPARE TO LEAVE"... and when I heard these words there was a U-haul truck right in front of me... I knew it was the Father speaking to me...I know his voice. So right when I got home I started packing...the boxes stayed in the corner for about two weeks before we left the house and moved. YHWH does prepare his people who pray earnestly for direction and even if your not praying but living for Him with all your heart....He will direct our life. HaleluYah! shalom hanna
