What I saw will be beyond comprehension, it will be a massive tsunami that will destroy most of the Gulf coast, Ike is not what I saw, it will be far worse, now in the second vision where I saw my mother laying among the dead bodies its very possible what I was viewing was the aftermath of a terrible hurricane that wiped out Houston, the houses were flattened and the tops of the trees were bent side ways, all my freinds and family have decided to ride it out until Friday, they will go from there, to get stuck on the highway would be inviting death, furthermore I am not saying this is the event I saw in my second vision but it could be, what I saw could have been the aftermath of a tsunami or hurricane, Jesus is the peace in the storm.

Please say a prayer for my husband, Jim. He left for the New Orleans area on August 29 to get in the area before Gustav hit. He is a Master Electrician, part of a FEMA 911 Special Ops Team dedicated to helping get all the lights, electricity, generators, etc. back online. He called last night to say that they are now heading to Texas, to get into a better position to be first responders for Ike. From what I hear, this new storm is HUGE. Thanks for your prayers of protection, wisdom and favor during this season. He has had roughly 3 to 4 hours of sleep each night, has had to sleep in his truck and/or outside some nights, and has gone without much food.

Thank you so much!

Anyone living near houston should get out now! Ike is going to be a monster!
Time has changed little cause my heart is still grieved. I am very much in pain and do indeed weep for the many tortured souls that are before me at this present time.

I will definitely pray for him. The Lord will protect him.

It is the point of no return now, no getting out, not possible unless you have a helicopter or plane, the traffic is suicide on the evacuation routes, some people getting 10 miles in 20 hours, told my mother to take the advice of my british freind who was around for Wilma, there gonna board up and ride it out, its all they can do at this point, there's problems also with no gas and gas rationing, dont want to be caught out on the road in this situation.

Please pray for my stepson Timothy, his wife Tabitha, my granddaughter Autumn and my husbands ex and her family. They have decided to stay and ride it out. They live 20 miles from the coast in Bay City and my hubby's ex lives in a 30 year old double wide!! I'm not going to be able to sleep until I know they are all alright!

Praying for ALL in the path of this hurricane!!

Thank you for praying for my husband last night. Late last night he (and 2 of his co-workers) were driving to an emergency job in southern New Orleans on the highway. They were going 55-60 MPH and instantly they had zero visibility. They slammed on the breaks, but they were in a tornado before they knew what had happened. Basically their truck slid sideways, they were blown all over the place, and it was incredibly slow-motion scary for all three men. However, God met them in their time of need. The truck is damaged and undrivable. But it's a miracle! Not only because they could have blown away, but they had a 300 gallon tank of gas, completely full, in the back of their truck. If they would have flipped, hit debree, or crashed into anything that sparked, it would have been catastrophic for all three of them.

I am so glad you guys joined me in prayed last night! I am thankful to the Lord for His continuous watch and protection! We serve an awesome GOD!

I would say that is miraculous Kamco, thank the Lord he watches over his own, well my mother like Wil thinks this vision is being fulfilled right now with Ike, I still dont think so, I believe this storm is just a confirmation of whats to come, here's why my mother thinks this is the vision being fulfilled, "Jack Colley said of the state emergency management team that this hurricane is a surge tsunami" thats right thats what its being called, A SURGE TSUNAMI, sounds like a sign to me, may the Lord guide and protect all you whom love him and keep his words in there heart.

Very "strange" news coverage on IKE now too. The Weather Channel reporter just commented on the Birds, animals, and even the insects (either disappearing or acting extremely strange trying to get to higher ground, crawling up peoples legs, and other weird behaviors...) Anyway, he said that it reminded him of all the stories/reports he had heard about the animal/bird/insect behavior right before the huge 12/24/06 "Tsunami" hit.

Anyone else think this is a bit odd? (that they are even talking about and drawing the similarities?)

Well.. just tryin to think what would cause a tsunami.. you've storm surges, earthquakes and meteorite impacts.. and thats about all I can come up with at the moment.
I just remembered, while typing the first sentence out that someone recently warned about a humongous "global earthquake"... but I cant remember where I saw it.. not suggesting my memory is bad, but that I read no less than half a dozen of these types of forums/sites a day and so its a challenge to peg things together.

Anyway.. a "humongous global earthquake" would sure cause the kind of destruction talked about in this tsunami thread.

We should pray that God is merciful with us all.

Fortunately, there won't be any humongous global earthquakes until during the Tribulation. Revelation predicts two: the Wrath of the Lamb earthquake and the earthquake that levels all mountains at the end of the Tribulation, before Jesus returns.

The storm surge only topped out at 13 feet, unlike the tsunami surge they predicted, which was around 25 feet.

President Bush declared a major disaster in his home state of Texas and ordered immediate federal aid. Officials were encouraged that the storm surge topped out at only 13.5 feet — far lower than the catastrophic 20-to-25 foot wall of water forecasters had feared, but major roads were washed out near Galveston.

I read that houston could be without power for up to 4 weeks or may take that long to get it all back on, plus on top of this theres a fuel shortage, there bringing gasoline in but I see it being rationed or only used for federal officials for rescue and cleanup. I am reading that things are much worse than what is being reported, well I might have to head back down to Texas to help my family out, so maybe part of this second vision is about to be fulfilled where I found myself in Houston, never wanted to go back but may be forced to.

Talked to my daughter in law who lives in Pasadena just outside of Houston. No damage to her house at all and all the trees in her yard were undamaged. Many homes in that neighborhood had roof and siding damage. Many trees were uprooted. Her next door neighbor's trees were knocked down and fell on the gas meter. Centerpoint was there when I was talking to her. They have no electricity and have no ideal when it will be restored. They were told to boil water before drinking it. I am praising God for protecting her and my grandson through this terrible storm. I am just praying that the others made it through ok too. Have not been able to reach them as yet. One lives in Baytown, one in Deer Park and one in Houston. Please say a prayer for everyone in that area.

Well I spoke with my mother yesterday and she said they lost there roof, maybe its worse than what she told me because she does'nt want to worry me, she said all the shingles or a great deal were ripped off the roof and it was leaking real bad, I told her before the hurricane struck her house that I dreamed she was mopping up water that was all in the house, she told me she was having to use buckets and mops to keep it out of the house, she told me my sisters got there electricity back on but hers is still off, there gonna put tarps on the roof.
