Due to all the terrorist threats, etc., it's a good idea to keep it and everyone involved - as well as the general Miami FL area - in prayer. Additionally, this morning I had an "experience" that further encouraged me to pray regarding it. First of all, I've always had an interest in the Super Bowl and prayed for it. In fact, in 2008, I was doing a meeting at the Healing Rooms of Florida in Coral Springs FL the evening of the Arizona Super Bowl. The Lord suddenly quickened in my spirit to ask that we stop everything we were doing and pray for the protection of those at the Super Bowl. He showed me there was a man who was going to try to do some terrorism type of thing at it. We all did pray. I even felt led to specifically pray that the person would have a change of heart about it and the plot would be stopped. But we heard nothing of any such terrorism plot for that day. - UNTIL a few days later! Even then, not much was put out about what had occurred. However, something HAD been plotted by a man, and he DID have a change of heart, and actually turned himself in! (You can see one article about it at: http://www.azcentral.com/sports/superbowl/articles/0206abrk-threats0206-CP.html) This morning, I had another such quickening for prayer and even an open vision/experience regarding this year's Super Bowl in Miami. This is what happened.... I awoke and sat on the side of the bed. I heard, "Seven, come eleven." - I thought, "What's this about?" - I heard it again, "Seven, come eleven." - Then I remembered that I'd recently heard on the news about a Ahmadinejad's February 11th threat against Global Powers. (http://www.thecomingattack.com/iran-issues-february-11-threat-to-global-powers/) - I then quickly checked today's date, which turns out to be February 7th. - Get it? "Seven, come eleven" = February 7th, then February 11th! I then had an open vision and saw several Middle Eastern looking men around a campfire chanting, "Seven, come eleven; Seven, come eleven; Seven, come eleven." - Next I heard, "First the 7th; then the 11th." - And I had a sensing that both were plans for terrorism. After that, I saw the Super Bowl stadium in Miami from an aerial view. Suddenly, the whole stadium "blew up" and became a huge cloud - seemingly Nuclear. Then I saw the southern tip of Florida go into the ocean. Immediately, the water first drew back, then it suddenly burst forth in a huge tsunami over a lot more of the remaining land. I tried to quit seeing it all! I kept rebuking it and praying against it. I even rebuked myself and tried to tell myself that I was imagining it all! I didn't want to see what I was seeing! It was frightening! Listen, I'm just being honest in saying that I didn't want to send this out to anyone, because lately anyone who sends a word out over the internet is an open target for being ill treated by self appointed religious watch dogs. However, I know prayer changes things - or at least lessens the severity of them. So I'm going to go ahead and send this out for prayer. - And in that, I would just ask that those who feel so led to pray for the safety and protection of those in that area today to do so. I certainly pray nothing happens. But I wouldn't forgive myself for not sending this out for preventive prayer if something did occur. So, please accept this in the spirit intended. I'm not saying the above is something I firmly know is actually planned. I honestly do not know. - Might have been last night's spicy dinner! - I'm just praying it isn't planned, does not get planned, and does not happen! And in that, am asking that those of you who feel to do so to join me in prayer about it. For sure, prayer cannot hurt. So, let's pray - even if we simply pray for no accidents or injuries for the players, as well as none for the many attending - whether due to traffic, or anything else that could be harmful! I didn't know what to say to my friend back then. I can't remember the details, I think it was 2001. I didn't open this email until very late tonight, and it is 1:02 AM as of this writing. I would have prayed about this earlier had I known. As it is it is good to see the super bowl went without a hitch! Families were able to go home without it being a disaster night for America. Thank You God for Your tender mercies! The 11th of this month now concerns me. I have known Joni Ames for many years. She is faithful and true. When she says pray, I know to pray. Father, I come to ask for protection of Your creation. I pray against cruelty, against slaughter, against the devices of the enemy that struggles against Your kingdom and Your will. I would petition God Almighty, Lord of hosts, if You would extend Your abundant mercies to this nation. I ask You, if You would, confuse the enemy and their works of darkness. Bring to nought the wicked and evil plan of the enemy. Harrass the enemy and pursue them to the darkest corners of the world. We are instructed to pray for the 11th. I believe You are concerned Father and desire to change the plan of the enemy. I ask You to move and put the enemy to shame. I ask You to send Your power of conviction over them and bring these people to accept You. I would thank You for not allowing the enemy to bring fear and death today. You heard the prayers of Your people to bring to nought the wicked devices of the enemy. You kept intact the family structure. You are so gracious to us. I am glad the super bowl could be enjoyed by many today. Favor
