The Lord still heals. Just have faith and trust him . About 3 weeks ago my mom got sick, she went to the doctor and they said it was her lungs , they gave her medicine but it wasn't helping. I prayed with her and the Lord gave me a word of knowledge that it was her heart. I spoke it as he gave it. Mom went back to the doctor and didn't mention it, they just gave her some more medicine for her lungs. Ok, I will try and make a long story short. My mom had Rheumatic fever as a child and it damaged one of her valves in her heart. When she was 28yrs old she had open heart surgery to repair the valve. They told her then it would last for about ten years. It has lasted 38 years. She has had problems on and off but the Lord has healed her everytime. I can't remember but maybe 15 or more years ago She had (Congestive heart failure. We laid hands on her in the name of Jesus and the Lord opened that valve a half of centimeter. That was confirmed from a heart test. Praise God she was healed. This time was different she couldn't get her air, very tired, heart racing, skipping beats. Mom wasn't really telling me how she was feeling or talking about it.Yesterday I was praying with dad and I could see in a vision that it was a flap that was sticking over the valve.I look it up and that explained her symptoms that she was having. I should ad she was at the doctors yesterday and they finally said it wasn't her lungs ,she collapsed in the doctors office. They couldn't run any tests yesterday. I didn't know about this until tonight. But the Lord knew. He is never late!!! After praying I took our golden retriever outside and I heard the Lord speak he said " Your mother is going to die" I was in shock. I said Lord is that your voice? Then I just said no, no, no. I said Lord if that is you please confirm it. I have a very close Christian friend . I tried to call her all afternoon to ask her if she knew anyone that the Lord has spoke that to. We got in touch last night and she said yes she knew people the Lord had spoke to. the same words that I heard. I can't even tell you how I felt right at that moment ,other than pain, heart broken, . I was grieving in my spirit . She said you pray and I will agree with you. I prayed all right I begged and pleaded, I cried heart broken . Then the Lord spoke to me and he said " I will stay my hand" . I have never heard that before. I went right to the computer and looked it up and sure enough it is in the bible. I know a lot of the word but not everything. Psalm 30:2 "O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me . I felt a peace . My dad and mom and I prayed over the phone last night . Of course we repented first of our sins. Then We asked the Lord to anoint my dads hands as he laid them on my mother. She felt peace and goose bumps all over her body. This morning when she walked up the stairs she could breath, she wasn't short of breath , she told me she hasn't felt this good for about 3 weeks.Praise the Lord she is healed. The Lord did confirm his earlier word , when he said he would stay his hand!! The moral of this story reminds of Abraham when he pleaded with the Lord. The Lord changed his mind and I'm truly grateful. Thank you Lord for healing my mom and answering my prayers. I love you Jesus!!! Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." NOTE - Find someone who believes God's Word regarding healing and have them lay hands on you and pray for you in faith based on the promises of God. James 5:16 says "that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Surely this includes healing! Psalm 103:2-3 "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases" Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." Edited by manolo, Jan 21 2010, 01:46 AM.

Wow manolo, how wonderful is Our Great Physician! Your testimony compelled me to add almost the same miracle experience I had with my own mom. When you look at her spinal xrays, any orthopedian would clearly say that it is impossible to be painless without surgery, even walking would be nearly impossible. Her legs were also filled with liters of fluid (oedema) and the skin over it was so thin you could look through it. Her will to live was gone, she was not saved. Then I started to pray and ask God for help. I started bandaging her legs to get the fluid out and circulation going and kept praying. This was one year ago. Today her legs are thin, her skin is healthy, she is pain free, even sleeps in positions that she could not do before in the last 30 years. Then I told her -do you believe that God has healed you and you have been given a miracle? The x-rays prove it. Oh THANKYOU Lord! Then she wanted to know more about God and shyly admitted that she feared God for having been divorced. I said Mom impossible for you never took another man. God loves you, the miracle proves it. After the lifting of that burden of false guilt, placed on her by the enemy, I noticed how every day she was more joyful, as if an old skin was stripped off. Then she asked me where I got that beautiful music she heard all the time on the phone. So I made her a CD of Praise music (it is a great gift for parents!!). Now she listens to it all day and sings along. If He can do it with my mom, then He sure can do it with yours! Amen. |
