Ken, I do not believe this will lead to a healthy discussion, It will cause division. Sorry Ken, but the way you worded your post shows me you have already made your mind up, I also know this because of your website.

God uses sickness for His glory and not always through healing, we see this with apostle Paul whom was not healed of his "thorn" to keep him humble and through Paul's weakness God would be glorified.

I will not be responding again to this thread, it so upsets my spirit. I have a sister born blind, so many "word of faith" believers have hurt her deeply, telling her she does not have enough faith that is why she is still blind, strangers, people who do not even know her. My sisters faith puts me to shame. And shame on those believers who judged her in such a way.

That is a very strange thing to say

If a christian spoke to a blind person like that, in front of me, I would get personally insulted

And I would let that 'christian' know that I am angry about that

And if they dared tried physically assaulting me, than they will end up on the floor

I do not have the right to physically assault anyone and I do not do that.

But I have the right to physicality defend myself

And if my words anger someone to the point that they will physically assault me, than that is there problem, not my problem. Because they will end up on the floor. Not me

I take it by your responce, you said NO. I will not change my mind EVEN IF I AM SHOWN BIBILE TRUTH??

Which is BEST for fondational Doctrine....COMMON SENCE OR BIBLE TRUTH?

If you will study the BIBLE THAN CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS if shown that you are Wrong..... than the answer should be YES.

I asked for a yes or no.

If your answer is NO, I must go ON.

Interesting question that you should bring up now. Just this morning I wrote the following paragraph to an aquaintance I hadn't seen or heard from in 7 months ...

"I also find myself looking at the harder biblical issues that for the most part are not being addressed, preached or practiced by those who claim faith & believership. Religion vs. relationship, Love vs. lordship, truth (biblical) vs. traditions, being “called-out” vs. of the world … the list goes on and on. This is NOT an easy place to be in – far from it. Some of the answers I’ve come across thus far will surprise most. I know it did me. It shakes one to the core, especially since I’ve been a believer since 1972. In many respects, it’s like starting over. Not to worry, haven’t “arrived” at all the answers to my questions. I do believe what I am going through now is something that all of us are going to have to go through soon enough. Not to worry, Yeshua is still Messiah and LORD of all, and my face is in The Book."

One of the things I've said in the past on the thread called "Feelings" in the Members section, is that "the end times are going to be very different that our long-held traditions, religions, theories and doctrines, but yet still 100% true to the scriptures."

I am already in a place now where long held views as taught to me by others have fallen aside in light of what the Scriptures teach.

We should all be teachable, even to the the end.

Looking forward to how this thread turns out ...

NO Lightingrod I just want to know if people will HANG WITH THE SCRIPTURE and if they are willing to say THEY WILL CHANGE IF SHOWN TRUTH which may not go along with what they are believing at that time.

I am not trying to control any one.

You have a right to answer any way you wish...I can see by your answer that you have very firm beliefs. Can they be changed, WITH THE WORD OF GOD?

Is common sence as great as the Bible truth, can you go with common sence all the time? You said the Bible is 100% truth, than which is it, the Bible or common sence?

So what is it for sure Lightingrod. YES OR NO.

forgive me if I did not understand your answer. I am not trying to pick a fight. I am only asking a good question that we need to know the answer to.

When I was in Idaho and Utah it was 90+ % Mormon.

I am a soul winner. I go a lot houses and out on the street talking to people.

I talked to so many Mormons in 5 years who NOTHING I COULD SAY OR SHOW THEM would CHANGE THEIR MIND.

THEIR MIND WAS MADE UP.

I used to ask them the questinon "If I could show you in the Bible where you were wrong, would you be honest enough to admit it? AND SINCE THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF TRUTH....I would ask them What if I could show you from your own Mormon writings that YOUR TEACHERS WERE WRONG and that MORMONISM HAS BEEN CHANGED since originally started by your prophet, WOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND REPENT? Now when they said NO which most of them said....I would say....WELL I MIGHT AS WELL GO ON, BECAUSE NOTHING I COULD SAY WOULD CHANGE YOUR MIND.

Now here is My QUESTION TO YOU.

If I could show you in the Bible where you are wrong concerning something,
Would you be honest enough to CHANGE YOUR MIND?


How about you??? Can you be taught?

Let me give you an example. If I were to prove to you FROM THE BIBLE that it is GOD'S WILL TO HEAL EVERY SICK PERSON would you CHANGE YOUR MIND?

Here is anothor QUESTION:

If you were wrong in your beliefs about Healing (using the example above) and I could prove you were wrong WITH THE SCRIPTURE....would you be HONEST ENOUGH TO TELL EVERYONE YOU WERE WRONG AND CHANGE YOUR BELIEF SYSTEM TO ACCOMODATE THE NEW FOUND TRUTH?


Surely, all Christians would say YES.

So how do you ANSWER MY QUESTIONS?

Now I want to make a statement for all on ATN. IF YOU CAN SHOW ME FROM THE BIBLE where I am wrong (about anything I believe or say). I WILL CHANGE. Plain and simple. The answer is YES.
