My friend has a horse who is blind and her daughter who moved back from college brought her pit bulls with her. Well she and her daughter were gone to a movie and when they got back the male pit bull had attacked the horse and the horse is really bad off. I am asking all who love our animals to pray for miracle healing for this horse. The horse can't eat because the dog attacked one side of her face. She needs to be nourished to survive. Pain I'm sure is really bad. Please if you have the time intercede for this situation.

This family really needs prayer because the daughter's dogs are at fault. There had been an issue between the mother and daughter for years and they were just beginning the healing of the breach between them - now this.

I thank you in advance.
Blessed is he who has regard for the poor; the Lord delivers him in time of trouble; the Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness. Ps. 41:1-3 ...

That is an extremely painful story.
Dogs like that can sense weakness and they found this blind horse.
Their instincts kicked in.
I wish people could learn about this breed of dog.
I hope mother and daughter can work it out.
It would be better to put the horse out of its misery.

praying too, Hope. If our hearts have such a love and burden for animals, I can only imagine how much more God loves them..........

She just called me a while ago. The stitches have broken loose some on the side of the face and there's a hole. We need the Lord to supernaturally close the hole up. Because of the rain we've been having, they can't lay her down right now to stitch this area back up. Pray that the hole won't get bigger (more stitches coming loose) or the horse won't be able to eat or drink.

Thank you all for your prayers.

The horse is doing better. Stitches were removed from her face this week and the vet said to watch and make sure the area doesn't break back open. Apparently if that happens, it's more serious. She needs to gain some weight back because she hasn't been able to eat much. But otherwise I think she's doing much better.

So thank you for all your prayers. This has really been an attack from the enemy on the entire family.

THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you Thankyou.

Poor animals.
All I hope is we can comfrot them enough.

I feel so depressed tonight.
My cat (I know, its only a cat they say)
he died tonight. He was 19 years and 2 months.
Long battle with heart disease.
He wanted to eat but it was too painful,
I was liquifying all of his food,
which he lapped up eagerly in small portions.
He was so thin and weak,
and wanted to be near us all the time.
He suddenly started stumbling around
the house and was loosing his bladder.
Went into convulsions for about an hour then
finally breathed his last.
We just buried him.
We feel this awful emptiness in the house.
19 years was a long time to have this creature
involved with your daily life.
he was like Sylvester the cat black and white
with just two white stripes on his tail.
I am glad God knows when even a sparrow
or an old black and white tom falls to the ground.

ahhh, Israeli, I am so sorry about your kitty.......God's creatures are put here for our use, and i believe that includes our comfort and our friendship, and our care. They are very much a part of our existance, they give us love, comfort and care in return for ours to them. There is a bonding that takes place, that people who don't have a love for animals can understand.

Your kitty is now over the rainbow bridge, and I believe.....i really do believe, that your kitty will be waiting for you as you cross over as well........

Be blessed ~

Israeli, I am so sorry for your loss. Having a pet for many many years is just like a family member. The sorrow and pain of losing a pet is so real. Two years ago, I lost three pets in one year. It was a rough year for me. We had our chihuahua/dachsun 16 years.

Only pet lovers can understand!

I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Thank you all for caring.
I feel so silly.
I'm wandering around the house looking at all the places he used to like to sleep and hes not there, and I'm bawlin' my eyes out.
He was a rig tom, meaning the neutering was only partial.
Vet couldn't find the other testicle.
So Arthur used to HOWL full volume at 3 in the morning
.....for 19 years. He used to spritz too.
He used to run up the wall, do a back flip and
land on his feet facing the wall.
Then he would turn and do it to the other wall.
Back and forth. He was absolutely nutzo-wack.
What ever we threw to him he would leap up and catch perfectly.
He would run up the wall
grabbing the door frame with his claws and hang there
yeowling.
He was truly bonkers.

I hope to our God our pets go to Gan Eden,
and have joy and peace.

Its strange too, our family doctor of 20 years whom we trusted
up and quit 3 days ago with out telling his patients.
Two things that have been with us since our begining here in Israel now gone.
Gives me a sense of forboding.

Ah, Israeli, your boychick of a cat sounds like he was indeed a fun and amusing fur child! I like his craziness! Can't wait to meet him!

19 years old ... wow!!! I had a cat named Sushi who lived to 17. And I thought she was old!

Some hug :hug :hug :hug to you as you remember your baby.

And yes, I believe that our furry babies will definitely be part and parcel of the furture when the LORD makes all things new! Rev. 21:4,5

Ok, guys, I have a situtation that is bothering me greatly.

I have a neighbor (who has plenty of issues, but I won't go into them now). The mom had promised one of the kids when she turned 10 she could get a dog. When the kid turned 10, she remembered and wanted the dog. All I could think at that time was oh no.......pity the poor dog that gets chosen.

So they come home with a mixed breed from the shelter....and all seems to be going well at the beginning. Kids are playing with and walking the dog, everybody's happy.

Over time though, I notice that the doggie is tied outside like all the time on a short rope. I know the problem is that the doggie cannot be contained in a fenced yard; she jumps -- literally crawls up - the fence and runs the neighborhood. One time when I went over to the house, as I stepped inside, I saw the doggie in her crate. This was a normal time of day, when doggie should have been out and about with the family.

Long story short, doggie is either tied up in the kitchen, in her crate, or tied up on a short rope outside. Nobody plays with her. Nobody walks her.....

My daughter and I have offered to take her for walks when we walk our dog, and they are fine with that, but unfortunately timing does not always work out. I have brought her over into my yard to play, but she's not one to entertain herself, and if I don't stay out to play with her, she just sits and scratches at my door. or will crawl up my fence and run the neighborhood.

Sorry to make this so long, but I don't know what to do ~

The neighbor mom won't make her kid(s) take care of the dog, so it's confined 24/7/365. She says she can't take it back to the shelter cause "everybody would be mad at her". I literally see insanity in this dog's eyes when I walk her or bring her over to my house....she runs and tears around like a mad dog, which she is, in a sense.......

I have offered help, suggestions, advice, etc., all to no avail. My heart is breaking for this poor sweet little dog, who is definitely still teachable and wants to please.

Any suggestions?

Ask her if you can find another owner for the dog, for her

If she refuses, call Animal Control and report animal abuse

Can you take the dog off her hands?

Ask her is she'll give you the dog

Any friends that might be interested?

PS We have 2 dogs & 2 cats so no more for us either.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
