In addition to the general search function one can also search for individual members started threads and posts by clicking on the members name than Profile Options. Note that accessing members profiles is a member feature only.

Sounds good to me! I'll test it.

Well, I clicked on my own name, but under my profile information, there was no provision for searching that I could see. What am I missing?

Here's what comes up under "Profile Options":

Not one thing about searching for posts, sad to say. Again, what am I missing?

Kathy put your mouse over the words Profile Options. The menu pops up.

Not for me. I did as you said, but nothing happened.

Works for me, Wil. I like how the posts are archived by month. Very nice, will save time looking up old posts.

Kathy and OnThe Horizon: click on you user name (or anyone else's in this thread) and you should get the page that has all the items you listed above. On that page in the top blue bar is your username with a button to the left of it saying "Profile Options." Scroll your mouse over the button and you'll get a drop down box with more options. Click the top one and you'll get a new page with links to all the posts made by that person monthly. Click on whatever month you want to view and all the posts made by that person for that month will be shown.

When I scroll over Profile Options I don't get the drop down window. :confused
Kathy and Mary Ellen, do you use Firefox or IE?

Edit:
I tried IE and that wasn't the problem.

I have both IE and Firefox, OTH. I'm using Firefox right now and a simple scroll over is all I need to access the drop down options box.

Could it be your browser is missing whatever application is needed for the drop down box to appear?

Have you tried placing the mouse over the Profile Options button and doing a right click?

I have a better idea than all this hassle. You shouldn't have to have a particular browser to be able to access the search feature; if you do, something is wrong. How about simply making the search feature obvious, and available to all? Can that be done, Wil?

No it can't Kathy, as this is the way it's written into the software. It doesn't appear to be a browser specific feature though, most likely it is something with browser settings. Am asking support though, will let you know as soon as they get back to me.
