Advanced Member Posts: 593 Group: Members Member #810 Joined: March 20, 2007	OK, Needing prayer here. Roof (which was new in February 2005) is leaking! In the middle of Tropical Storm Fay here in Brevard County, FL. and my roof has sprung a leak!!! Which is really not what I need or want right now.

Advanced Member Posts: 593 Group: Members Member #810 Joined: March 20, 2007	Oh boy! Or should I say "Oy vey". Or "Oy Fay"!!! It looks like my roof area is very much compromised. A slight but definite sag can be detected from the outside. Leaking badly inside, from ceiling and also down a wall, so this is going to be a rather serious situation. Major repairs will be necessary with a huge hurricane deductible. No funds available to cover deductible or miscellaneous emergency repairs. I've also flooded area in my back yard. A wooded shed is in the middle of it. More than likely it will have to come down from too much water. Not sure if it is covered by insurance. Yesterday, we were in the Northeast Quadrant of the storm all day, which is where the heaviest rains are. The center just passed over Melbourne a few hours ago. Brevard County has taken the major brunt of this storm. We've had some 10-11 inches of rain since yesterday morning and it is still pouring here. This storm is only moving at 5 miles an hour, so I will be dealing with rainy & windy weather for the next few days. It's windy, too. Gusts around 40 mph. We are under Flash Flood WARNINGS as well as Tornado Watches / Warnings. This is sooo not good. I've been out of work since November 2006, and I've used up all resources to live. House has been for sale 10 out of the last 12 months. Obviously I be in quite a critical predicament. Needless to say, I would be very happy for a Harpazo event to happen really, really soon. I guess praying for a miracle is out of the question at this point??? Naaah. Go to town on the miracle prayers, folks. Pray for my peace and purpose too in this extremely stormy time in my life. Thanks!
