Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMhq7CfMuWI Synopse: american citizen joe mestas was vacationing in south ossetia with his wife and five year old daughter. mr. mestas' wife is from south ossetia and mr. mastas has been in the area many times. mr. mestas said that since the united states has been supporting georgia that he though that there would be some control over the situation and that it would be a peaceful resolution. mr. mestas says that what is happening in south ossetia is not just the war it is war crimes. mr. mestas says that "george bush and [georgian president mikhail] saakashvili should answer for the crimes that are being committed. the killing of innocent people...and the running over with tanks of women and children and throwing grenades into cellars to kill innocent people, war is supposed to be military against military - georgians are killing innocent civilians - they're committing genocide." when asked by the russia today interviewer if he wanted washington to step in, mr. mastas replied "i urge every american who may be watching this broadcast right now, to call their senators, their congressmen, the white house and tell george bush to get out! america does not need to intervene in this war -- america needs to stop supporting georgia. what saakashvili is doing is no better than what saddam hussein did and if george bush is supporting that, like hes supporting georgia, he's no better than saddam hussein." This should call into question the patriotism of any American. The lies of the western media have become so blatant that it's disgusting. |

I couldn't agree more! This is what i've been saying all along! The western media is out to my russia look like the bad guy when the truth is that georgia has committed heinous war crimes against innoscent people! Georgia started this mess and I support Russia 100%. Its no different from when the US invaded iraq. |
Time has changed little cause my heart is still grieved. I am very much in pain and do indeed weep for the many tortured souls that are before me at this present time.![]() | |

Unfortunatley this is true. We need to start seeing that we can't get the truth from the main stream media and start to seek out alternative news outlets to find out the truth. Russia was provoked when South Ossetia was attacked by Georgia. Also, the US provided training for the Georgian troops right before this happened and Israel has been selling weapons and training to them too. I know this is hard to believe but it is documented. Very very sad. The NWO elite want a WWIII so they can produce their New Age Messiah (a.k.a. the antichrist). I believe the Ezekiel 38 war is WWIII and it will proceed the tribulation. Remember that God said he was going to put a hook in Russia's jaw - that means they really didn't want to go to war but was forced. I'm not saying Russia is the good guy - of course they are still an evil country but I think they are being drawn into this. If you poke a bear in the eye he's going to get very angry. |

These two articles might prove enlightening: http://antiwar.com/print/?articleid=13292 http://antiwar.com/print/?articleid=13304 antiwar.com is a very informative news source providing dozens of columnists every day. Another two good web sites are: http://globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=home http://whatreallyhappened.com/ Edited by Golfhound, Aug 17 2008, 12:47 PM.

Check this out: 12 Year Old Girl Tells the Truth about Georgia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8XI2Chc6uQ "She says she was "running from Georgian troops dropping bombs" and that she wanted to thank Russian troops... for their help." per GLP |

I've heard tales from both sides and from prior experience I'm certain that some will pan out while others will be found to be propoganda (on both sides). I think it's apparent that Russia's push south (which according to the Scriptures will proceed through Armenia & Turkey into Syria, Lebanon and eventually the state of Israel. Russia is the Lord's chosen instrument for fulfilling His holy word at this point in time and it matters not what the US State Department, the White House or the official Russian media sources report. This event is simply something that must come to pass in order that our Lord is glorified in the sight of the nations. It may seem cold to say that those caught in the crossfire are collateral casualties in the Plan of the Ages, but to those who know "The Plan" it is a blessing and for those who are suffering, it's an opportunity. Patriotic feelings, both in Georgia and America are natural in this situation, but are not relevant to the main event and in the extreme (intervention) are unhelpful, unless a broader war in the Caucasus region is indeed a part of The Plan. I believe that the latest skirmish is mainly a staging exercise for Russian troops. The push southward will follow in the coming months when sleepy minds are put to rest. IMO the oil is not a primary but punitive issue. On one hand it hurts American planning and prestige in Eastern Europe while serving as a warning to the Europeans who would rather depend on Moscow for oil than Iran at this point in time. We shall see... |
