The flood that I'm speaking about is not water, it's money. God is going to drown America, we're going to be destroyed by the very greed that has gone rampant in this nation. The Holy Spirit gave this to me: 1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. You see what the Holy Spirit is saying? I'm going to drown you in your debt. I'm going to drown you. You have greedy hearts... you're drowning in your greed. Brothers & sisters, I am convinced that the destruction that's coming to America is going to be focused on our greed and on our money system. America's God is its belly.

The more I read about our current economic situation the more relevant this prophecy seems. The reason why our country is in this situation can be summed up: We have borrowed too much because we have been too greedy. Here's another guy with a similar message from the 70's: http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/68634 Quote: The message was in English and said "Michael you are a prophet" then came the words "you will speak to the American people," followed by "This is the message you will speak, Ov, Ov Penury," the final word was "not many will come out." ... I finally found that Ov is an old English contraction for "overmuch" which more commonly means "a lot of." The word penury means, a state of extreme poverty or scarcity. America, in a state of extreme poverty and scarcity!

Wow... extremely profound word. I followed the link to the full article and this man's word lines up with David Wilkerson's and scripture. Amazing! This scripture confirms the word: "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Luke 21:35 Thank you NEWUSER for posting!
