California Prayer Alert by Ken Storey Please be praying about these prophetic messages. Let us test the word and hold fast that which is good. Ken The following message was posted at San Jose House of Prayers. It was a much more serious prophecy than anything we have heard before. But it still subject to verifications. Crisis Response International (CRI) Word for California Dear Friend, Several local and national prophetic voices have been warning the Body of major natural disasters in California that will occur much sooner than many may think. On Sunday, May 25th, 2008, four prophets from Kansas City, MO, showed up in San Jose with a strong word from the Lord. The Lord had been speaking to them for several years about a catastrophe coming to California. The Lord has recently released them, telling them to go preach in San Jose. CRI – Crisis Response International Several years ago, God called these four prophets with a special mission to enter into regions before major catastrophes to prepare the church and provide disaster relief. They called their team CRI, or Crisis Response International. Six months before 9/11 hit, the Lord sent Sean Malone, one of the prophets, to cry out everyday for Manhattan. He was there when 9/1 1 happened, and a team of them worked with the local church afterwards to provide relief. Five days before Hurricane Katrina hit, the Lord sent Sean and his family to New Orleans. Again, they were used of the Lord to minister to victims in the aftermath. In one instance they were serving food at a soup kitchen, asking people, "So why do you think this happened?" Over and over again, the response was, "God did this. We deserved it, and I repent." Hearts everywhere were tender and open to the gospel. The disaster had produced a huge harvest field. One Monday morning in New Orleans, while they were ministering to the victims, a fiery baptism of the Holy Spirit broke out. Demons were being cast out and people were being healed. Prostitutes were hearing the audible voice of the Lord leading them block by block to the crisis center, and telling them to enter the building where the team was ministering. The Lord was pouring out His Holy Spirit in the midst of crisis. Three Disasters The Lord showed this team that there would be three disasters to hit America. After the first one, the church would roll over and go back to sleep. After the second one, some of the church would wake up, but most would hit the snooze button and fall back asleep. By the third one, the crisis would be significant enough that the church would wake up for good. They believe that these three events refer to 9/11, Katrina, and now what will come to California. Tsunami Prophets have been speaking for many years about an earthquake as well as tsunami that would hit the coast of California. Sean had a dream in which he was on a beach in a place he later would identify as Half Moon Bay. In this dream, he saw the waters on the beach recede far out into the ocean. Knowing this was bad news, he began to run toward the hills, tied himself to a wooden post, and water rushed over him up to his neck. Earthquake In April o f 2008, CRI received an email from Bob Jones's secretary who said that he had just walked into her office and said, "Big earthquake, California, sooner than we think." Jeremiah 11:1-11 – The Broken Covenant The CRI team from Kansas City received repeated occurrences of the number 11-11, or 111. For example, they would show up to a hotel and get Room 111. They would throw their change onto the dresser and it would be 11 cents in one pocket and 11 cents in another. Sean would lay down on the bed and open up a book to Jeremiah 11:11. He would get ready to speak to a man named Jeremiah about California, when a friend would come up to him and say, "It's 11:11," referring to what time it was at the moment. This and countless other confirmations showed that the Lord was speaking about Jeremiah 11:1-11, which is a passage about the broken covenant of Israel. It talks about how God's people turned their back on him to serve other idols and go after other god! ! s. "Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.'" (Jeremiah 11:11) Then the Lord told Sean to go back and look at the Mayflower Compact, signed by the forefathers of America. It says that "We hereby covenant ourselves to Almighty God. This nation is formed for the perpetuation of the gospel of Jesus Christ" (paraphrased). It was signed on November 11th, or 11/11. America made a covenant with God when it was formed, but has strayed. Pony Express: Prophetic Messengers Coming to California And then the Lord started to speak about the Pony Express. For years, Sean had a post card with an advertisement for the Pony Express: "Looking for young, 18 – 25 year old riders for the Pony Express." Turns out, Rod, one of these four from KC, ! ! is a former postmaster in Missouri. One day as they are on the road, the presence of God fills the car and Rod gets a manifestation as if he were grunting like a horse. Just then as they turn a bend on the road, they drive past a truck full of horses with the Pony Express logo on the side. The Pony Express, as it turns out, was a mail service that ran from Missouri to Sacramento, with the trip taking 11 days, both ways. Before a disaster, the Lord would always send messengers with a warning for the people to repent. He sent Jonah to Nineveh to preach repentance. There needed to be widespread revelation in the land in order for the people to respond correctly. CRI believes that God wants to rise up prophetic messengers with a message in their hearts for California. Currently they are training 44 young preachers in Missouri to come to California and proclaim the word of the Lord. There will be four bus loads of fiery preachers camping out on a mobile 24/7 prayer tent interceding an d preaching all over the Bay Area. Lou Engle intends to bring 100+ young people as well from The Call to California to do the same thing. Bob Jones's Prophecies On Saturday, May 24th, 2008, Bob Jones released a prophecy about California, saying that "the cup of iniquity of California is full, and prayer cannot stop judgment for San Francisco and LA." He also had prophesied that there would be a few other indicators that the catastrophe was soon to come: • There would be a great quake in Japan first, followed by a great quake in California • When you see the evangelists leave the streets, then get ready, San Francisco. The CRI team from Kansas City believes that these evangelists refer to the 44 young messengers the Lord is sending from Missouri to California to declare the word of the Lord. God's Heart in Judging a Nation The Bible also says that there will be earthquakes, famines, wars and rumors of wars in the days leading up to the end times (Mark 13:8). In the midst of these inevitabilities, it is important to understand God's heart in bringing catastrophe upon a nation. He is not a big bad angry God who simply wants to punish people for stepping out of line. Rather, he does everything in the name of love, disciplining those He cares about. He allows a measure of pain to produce a great amount of good. Scripture shows that the Lord often delivered the wayward Israelites into the hands of their enemies in order to bring them back to a covenant relationship with Him. Protection for the Righteous The Lord spoke to the team about Psalm 91:3! ! . In one meeting, feathers started to rain from the ceiling, followed by a random phone call from a friend who said, "It's Psalm 91:3." Shortly thereafter, a license plate they ordered showed up in the mail, with a picture of the Louisiana State bird and the numbers "913" on it. This passage says that there is protection and deliverance for the ones who abide in Him. "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler." (Psalm 91:3-4) In light of these warnings, God is not calling his people to act out of fear or self-preservation, but to seek Him and trust in Him. He is calling them back to the secret place. Although it is good to be physically prepared, the only thing that will truly prepare us for the times ahead is intimacy with the Lord. The Coming Revival Many have heard by now about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Florida that is spreading around the globe. We all talk about Joel 2 and the Spirit being poured out upon all flesh in the last days, but we forget the context. The outpouring is for crisis. CRI believes that the Lord is raising up a Joel 2 army for major crisis that is coming. One day, Sean was on the phone with a disaster relief coordinator from Morningstar Ministries in Charlotte, NC, who said that it was their belief that the Florida revival is a Joel 2 outpouring in preparation for an earthquake. He hung up the phone, and then got an email with a clipping of an April 22nd newspaper article in which the headline read, "US ARMY PREPARES FOR MASSIVE QUAKE." Immediately after that, he received a second email from a secretary saying that well known prophet Bob Jones had just walked into her office and said, "Big earthquake, California, sooner than we think." This was again confirmed a few days later when Todd Bentley was honoring the fathers by having John Kilpatrick and Steve Hill from the previous revival in Pensacola, FL, on stage. John Kilpatrick, from the previous revival in Pensacola, FL, said that the Lord told him that one day a 3rd wave of revival was coming (speaking of this present one), but this revival was going to be different in that it would be in tandem with major end-time events. He then goes on to preach out of Joel 2 and describes a vision he had of an earthquake. History has shown that there is no greater harvest field than the one that is borne out of the vacuum of crisis. This is a kairos moment for the church to become the hands and feet of Jesus and minister in the power of the Holy Spiirt. Three Ways to Respond How is the Holy Spirit telling you to respond? Here are three suggestions. Be Praying • For His people to have rest and intimacy with the Lord, staying rooted and grounded in love. • For the body of Christ to be awakened and arise out of its slumber. • For the Lord of the Harvest to send out his laborers to minister and become the hands and feet of Jesus. • For an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and for a great harvest to come in. Be Sharing the Word Ezekiel 3:16-21 says that if a person has a word from the Lord and they have the opportunity to turn a wicked man from his ways, but doesn't, then the blood of this wicked person is on his hands. Since we have heard the word of the Lord, we have a responsibility to share it with people so that they have a chance to repent. There is still time for people to hear the gospel of Christ before disaster. Be Ready to Serve Did you know that showing up to volunteer at a disaster in America is a bad idea? You must be pre-trained to be useful; otherwise, you will be turned away. Red Cross disaster training is free. There are Eight Basic Disaster Courses. Just then, the Lord boomed, "But Allen! What about the drunkenness of California?" Just then, Allen began to cry out for mercy for California. And then he saw before him a scale, with judgment on one side and mercy on the other. The needle was pointed toward judgment, but as he prayed it shifted toward mercy, and when it came to the middle, the dream stopped. When Allen shared this at The Call in Kansas City, the Lord shifted the focus of the meeting and they spent hours crying out for California. Bob Hartley's Prophecy "George W. Bush would have an opportunity to show great mercy to California before he leaves office." Julie Meyer's Dream for San Francisco "I was standing right at the edge of the sea again and could see a great shaking. A great shaking! ! will come right down the middle of San Francisco. I just want to add to this post that I am aware of the failings of Bob Jones, and other's mentioned in this post. They are human, and subject to falling into the ditch of sin, as we all are. However, gifts and callings are without repentence. When I posted this, it was only to emphasise that so many are sensing that "something is up", and it is being felt by many. I do not know what is going to happen in California; but we are seeing the beginnings of the Lord's grieving heart with the multitude of fires, and now earthquakes. My eyes are on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith, and looking to Him in the events manifesting before us. |

Ah, don't pick on us Californians TOO much! LOL! There are a LOT of Christians here holding back the tide, let me assure you!!! :) With that being said, I must share something. On April 8th, my 10 year old, special needs son came into my room and said, "Mom, I've got to tell you something. It's important." I thought he was hurt, so I sat him down and said, "What's wrong?" He said, "Mom, something BIG is going to happen soon. I don't know what it is, but it's something very disasterous. It's going to change the way we live. You won't be able to guess what it is, Mom, but it's going to effect everything, especially the stores. I don't even know if the stores will be there anymore, Mom. We need to stock up on food and lots of it. This is going to happen soon." I asked him how he knew this and he said that a strong feeling and a knowledge just came over him. This feeling lasted for days. He said, "Mom, do you remember when we had fires last year and the sky was red and there was ash falling down? Well, I saw that happening but much redder." Now, I don't think that what he was warned about has happened yet. But he said it would happen very very soon. We did have the fires here in CA this past month, but they did not effect the stores or our food supply. Plus, he said this would be a disaster beyond anything that we could comprehend. We'll see what happens. Just FYI. |

Hi Friends, Several things caught my attention about this post. 1. I saw the Tsunami flooding California after a huge earthquake. I have felt this earthquake was going to happen soon but the urgency was so strong, I thought it was going to be even sooner. Both myself and my brother have been warned of this separately in very similar dreams. 2. Protection for the righteous. 3. Disaster Certification. There was a notice in my church bulliten about Disaster preparerness "CERT" classes being held at another church and when I read this, I felt a tug at my heart and I knew this was for me and my brother. I have been certified in CPR and First Aid before but it has been too long ago and I need to get certified again. I also have tons of medical supplies from when my Father was sick, and I could see myself going around cleaning and bandaging wounds after a large quake. I already knew the Lord wanted me to do this, so I'm going to take the classes this August. 4. What Waterfall's son said about the grocery stores is true. I have warned of this already. There will be rations after an initial period of time where there will be no food on the shelves after people panick and hoard. The Lord has directed me to do the same thing he told your son to do. So there is what I can add to this thread. It funny, because it reads exactly like what the Lord has already told us about, beginning to end. Our latest word is this, "Remember, where ever you are, the Lord will be with you." Which made my Brother feel when he heard it, that we would be displaced somehow, out of our home. I have being moved to ratchet up my stocking up of supplies here lately........and I live in OHIO... this has been an ongoing activity for a while, but lately it's kicking up again....so I 'm adding more as I think of things....now granted this is only good for a short period of time....nothing like a year or more....just whatever I'm feeling I should be getting.......and well, if something happens and we're not around to use it.......it'll be there for whoever finds it........ |

O.K. I'll take the leap. We all have heard how sometimes certain animals know something is going to happen before it does. Last week I had that 'bottom just fell out' feeling several hours each day, for three days. Within 12 to 18 hours of that feeling there were quakes of 5.0 or greater ranging from the Kuril islands on the east coast of Russia, to the Rat islands of Alaska. Then it went away. Tuesday morning of this week, the feeling came back. As we know Calif. had the 5.4 on Tuesday afternoon. NOW, for the past couple of hours the feeling has come back yet again. Stronger this time. Maybe I'm picking up something like subsonic vibrations, or maybe I've picked up a stomach flu bug of some kind. I claim no kind of visionary powers. I merely note what has happened to me, and then what happened elsewhere. |

Well, I have that spiritually heavy feeling right now big time.....but I can't tell if it's from reading all these posts or if its my heart hurting from missing my son........but the feeling is the same when there is about to be a spiritual attack on me or someone close to me........that I have felt in the past. |

That's the feeling exactly day late! Remember my "earthquaky feeling" ??? Well, I felt it before the big quake off the coast of Oregon, and all those weird quakes in uncommon areas earlier this year but I felt something big was coming for the LA area specifically. I didn't want to say anything again this time when I started to get the feeling back very strongly, and then the earthquake hit recently 5.4, but somehow I know that it's just a foreshock to something bigger. But I didn't want to say anything and tried to keep quiet about it. But since you mentioned it, I'll go out on the limb with you and agree. I just feel it. First there's a small warning, then the big one. Also, first there's a small volcanoe that blows in America (Alaska) then there's a big one. The first warning quake and volcanoe have now struck, be prepared for the second, more destructive wave. ~7Seven |

I hope not. It is a very uncomfortable feeling. Given what Jesus said in Matt. 24 about earthquakes, it could be a long unpleasent ride. I can say that I had the same feeling the day before the Indonisian EQ and tsunami. |

 You know, when I saw that quake hit on the TV, I thought, oh Lord. You are warning us and no one sees it. Lord have mercy on us. And then I felt a rush...like it was a prelude to something much much bigger....

7thunders, I'm not sure if this is a big earthquake or something else that my son was warned about. I asked him lots of questions, but he didn't know. All he knew is that 1)it would change they way we live and 2)it would be something that we never expected. I've had three very powerful dreams over the last 10 years about a nuclear missle hitting San Fran or around that area. We'll just have to see. In my son's words, "We may not even have this house! But we (our family) will all be alive and together. We will be kept together." Yes, Pinky, it is attention-getting when a 10 year old prophesizes, and a special needs boy, to boot. But, like David Wilkerson said in one of his sermons, God is using the people we least expect to get our attention. I understand that this is happening across the nation. |

Hi Waterfall, Yes, I have also had dreams of the nuclear bomb, but I saw it in the direction of Los Angeles (the time period given was in the Fall, because I always saw autumn leaves swirling in the wind.) My Brother also recently had another dream of a nuclear bomb coming from over the mountains (which is in the direction of LA) and everyone was looking at the sky at the glow and mushroom cloud. Could there be two, more than two? One in LA and one in San Francisco? My Dad also had a prophecy about this on his death bed. He said that the Lord came and took him a lot while he was dying and he saw the nuclear bomb that would strike after he died. He said that he would be with the Lord by then but that we would be protected during it. He told us to buy duct tape & plastic that was big enough to cover the windows and to keep plenty of extra food on hand because we wouldn't be able to leave the house for weeks. I have tried to be prepared for it since his death. I also saw a comet hitting NY city. That was a terrible vision. My brother saw the big earthquake that would strike in several visions. He said it would be off the Richter Scale, larger than a 10. Which sounds exactly like the prophecied earth reeling like a drunkard of Isaiah 24:20........ "The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again." ~Isaiah 24:20 Here is the vision: He saw a globe hanging on a string before him and he hit it the first time and it swayed on the string. Then he hit it a second time and this time it fell off the string. He also had a vision of three piles of rubble, which I've interpreted as three devastaions. This could have been 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, and a third coming devastation. He also saw a vision of three pillars being pounded where he felt three blows. Again there is the same interpretation of three devastations, where we will feel the painful blows. However, these three blows that will plant these pillars firmly in the ground are to build a bridge. The blows therefore, will strengthen us in some way. I have to interpret his dreams for him though, because he has a learning disability. They make perfect sense to me, but he just tells me what he sees and then I interpret them. ~7Seven |

Can't say that I have. I will say that the feeling is presently decreasing. Which if it follows true to form, means the quake could be as little as six hours away. Personally I'm hoping for the flu bug myself.
