Jim Bramlett (26 Jan 2008) "Pre-trib rapture resources" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If anyone is having doubts about a pre-trib rapture, my below collection of pre-trib links may help. Thank you for this. I have a very close friend who is a mid-tribber and insists we are raptured at the seventh trumpet judgment of Revelation. Even though this part of the Bible was written about 30 years after the last trump mentioned by Paul in his letters to the churches. And I have pointed out to him several times that the wrath of the Lamb comes at the sixth seal, and the church is promised to escape the wrath in several places in the Bible: Rev. 6: 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Also the seven years is determined on the Jews, it is their time, not the church's; it is the last week of the 70 weeks of years that are determined on the Jews: Daniel 9: 24 “ Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. |

Thank you for showing us these links. I am a mid trib person. So I will GLADLY look at this in hopes that it "could" change my mind. It would be GREAT if we didn't have to suffer. But... Off to take a few peaks! |

Nobody is saying nobody will suffer. What we pre-Tribbers are saying is that we won't suffer God's wrath. There's a world of difference between suffering the wrath of man and suffering the wrath of God. The Tribulation will be a time when God's wrath will be poured out on the world to such an extent that Jesus will have to come back personally to prevent all life from becoming extinct. |

No..we will NOT suffer GODS wrath in any way...ever. BUT...the timing of the raprture is going to be a BIG SURPRISE...simply because..we have gotten the whole "Seven year period of tribulation" wrong for years. Its not seven years....but you will all see soon. I cant wait..its going to be THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME THE SAINTS HAVE EVER HAD!! AFTER which..comes the TRIB...and NO..its NOT seven years...but thats another story altogether and would take too long to explain and would start too many time wasting debates. The LORD is about to settle the issue once and for all anyway..if you want to disagree AFTER what the Lord is about to reveal to the world....you are either blind or dead already because ALL debate will CEASE from that point onwards. |

Final Call ~ I made a request on another thread for you to plainly tell what you see is coming. A sort of timeline, perhaps? I think it is possible to briefly state such, along with relevant Scriptures for further study. My purpose is not to debate, but to study on my own for truth. It would be more encouraging and helpful to have a mature understanding of what you are aluding to than to be "teased" with all the wonderful surprises God has in store. Thanks. |

I'm with SherShalom on this, Final Call. Please share what you believe/know to be coming up. I promise to not get into a debate. After watching for the Lord's "imminent return" since 1976, I've decided that God knows exactly what He's doing and will take us (or not) at exactly the right moment. I was a pre-tribber, for a long time, but then realized that there are equally valid arguments for pre-, mid- and post-trib, and that that's all they are - just arguments. No one knows. I guess now I'm a whenever-God's-ready-tribber. If you feel that it's too controversial or would begin another heated debate, a PM would be much appreciated. :) As far as your reference to "the most wonderful time the Saints have ever had," I totally agree! I can feel "something" just bubbling up inside of me, knowing that "something" huge and wonderful is literally SO close to happening; it's so exciting that sometimes I feel like I could run straight up a wall!
