http://news.goldseek.com/RonPaul/1216926862.php What I see as the two biggest problems with this bill is the easy bailout to the expense of tax payers and the IRS monitoring all of our credit card transactions. What our congress has done is turned our country into a fascist state. If they don't approve of your spending habits, they can block future credit card transactions. The banks/IRS can put a block on your buying any groceries at Publix for example. Say the government puts a ban on the future purchase of bibles. Every Christian bookstore could be shut down overnight. Even the likes of Borders would have a problem. You all know how every purchase is scanned for the bar code. With the onslaught of the Homosexual aggenda in California and Colorado, they could eventually apply enough pressure on congress to block all financial transactions by Christians throughout the country. If anyone thinks this is impossible, the government has free access to every churches membership roster through the Freedom of Information act. Banks are also the biggest spies for the IRS. Currently, every electronic transaction of $500 or more is forwarded to Homeland Security. Does anyone on this board have their tithe automatically taken out of their bank account? As preposterous as that sounds, could this be Nazi Germany in the making? But it all makes sense. The world will be completely cashless by 2012 where electronic transactions will be the only way to buy. I would add some food for thought for all voters - you are all familiar with the term "throw the bums out." Yet, 80% of all incumbants (Senator and Reps) get re-elected. I realize our choices may not be that great, but we already have a voting history to refer to with our current bums. Edited by Golfhound, Jul 24 2008, 12:48 PM.
