Member Posts: 91 Group: Members Member #4,798 Joined: July 17, 2008	Terrorism Warning Dream - Joni Ames Dear Friends, I awoke from a terrible dream this morning about terrorists attacking an area of our country. It was such a real dream! This is one of those times that I'm hoping I'm wrong, but it was so "real" that I believe it is a "head's up" warning for us to pray against such a thing happening. I've also felt to pray for protection during the presidential innaguration, as well as the Super Bowl. Anyhow, in the dream, our government knew it was going to happen, but not "where," until it was too late to evacuate everyone. But there were government men hiding in trees with rifles, along the path they had found out that the terrorists were traveling on, ready to pick off the terrorists. I was accidentally on that street and saw them in the trees, and at first went to call the police, until someone told me not to - and why. In the dream there was atomic weaponry involved that the terrorists were going to use. - The government didn't want the local police involved or endangered. At one point, I (for some reason) thought it was in Los Angeles. - However, it could have been DC, because I then (in the dream) tried to contact a friend of mine that lives in Washington, DC, to try to be sure she was safe and was screaming 'If you are home, get out! get out! Be safe!' - Also I wanted to try to get word to the president. But my friend didn't answer any of her phones nor did she call me back. I texted her too, and she still didn't respond. I was very concerned about her. Suddenly a realization came to me that there were going to be several places at once that something like this was going to be attempted. Then I woke up. The dream was very 'real.' I awoke quite shaken. I do believe we have the power to stop such things through Prayer, so I encourage you to pray that the enemy's plans be canceled. I would pray everywhere at all times, working, walking, lying on my face on the floor, pushing buggies through the stores, I would live in the church for a week and pray and pray on my face. But this year, it was like the desire left me. I have prayed, but no fasting anymore. There is no desire...that burning I felt to do in the past...it has not been there. Judgment is here. What can I do now? Just get out the way?

The Holy Spirit has had me in intercessory repenetance for hours at a time. Repentance can minimize the depth of the impact upon America but "the course will not be changed." I was instructed not to pray against the judgement, just repent for our sinfulness. I was shown gouges in the earth but not the cause or exactly where in America. Unfortunately, it seems there are all kinds of possibilities: earthquakes, volcano, bombs. -Kim

We bring people to repentance, by telling people of our Lords saving grace, and reminding people who are Christians, that are Lord is a righteous Holy God, who hates sin, and He is coming for His Children whom have kept their oil lamps lit, and garments white.

I've spent many yrs.(30) interceding for this nation, and other countries as the Holy Spirit has directed. I've been called to fast on a regular basis usually every January, and several times thru a year, for over 25, but no more, the Lord has soundly let me know the time for this is over. I'm not sharing this to pat myself on the back, nor to try to sound like anyone special, I know I'm not. I'm doing so to simply show that the Holy Spirit is speaking the same thing to many who spend a lot of time with Him. We are in the very last days. Niether this nation, nor the world for that matter, is going to repent; this is obvious. It is in a downward spiral that will not stop. In prayer when I've asked the Lord what to pray for, and how; the answer I've received is "That my people will be ready for them when I come."

It ceased very recently, and abruptly. I heard the Lord say, "Nothing will hold Me back." I am only weeping now for HIM, for His sorrow over what He must do. But, I am not weeping for the world any longer. "It is in a downward spiral that will not stop."

Kathy, I cannot speak for Banty Hen, but now the Lord has me praying for specific people He lays on my heart for salvation, but no longer on a wide scope of the world, or nations. It seems the call of God for prayer for them I was given for so long, is done, and has lifted. I spend most of my time now praying for the Body of Christ; as I was directed.

Member Posts: 63 Group: Members Member #4,913 Joined: September 30, 2008	When I am doing repentance/intercessory prayer recently, it is always for lost/ blackslidden/ lukewarm/ cold Chrsitians. Dry Christians without the Holy Spirit. This is what God has burdened my heart with. The children in the vision I received can hear His voice, but are not heeding it for their own reasons. If they were not Christians, they wouldn't hear His voice at all. We need to keep on praying however and about whatever the Holy Spirit directs us to, right up until the end. Thanks, Kim

Advanced Member Posts: 1,651 Group: Advanced Members Member #96 Joined: January 7, 2006	I agree. BTW, I also disagree that there are any Christians who lack the Holy Spirit--true Christians, that is. People who are Christian in name only obviously don't have Him at all. If the Spirit doesn't live in your heart, you're not saved, and you need to accept Jesus. That said, there are true Christians who are not walking in the Spirit, for whatever reason, but even they have God's Spirit residing in them. It's definitely possible for a true Christian to quench the Spirit, but He still lives in that Christian's heart. Just wanted to bring that up! Incidentally, you've all brought up some interesting points. We must really be close to the end, now, for God to tell us to stop praying for the world and just pray for individuals He brings to our hearts. Kathy G. Edited by kgreen20, Dec 31 2008, 02:20 PM.

When I would go to this past falls football games I would just want to cry because it is such a beautiful thing -life here in America- the children, activities and such and soon life as we know it will be gone. At Christmas time with the school concerts I just wept inside. (By the way a praise report here.....we still sing Christian Christmas songs, still pray at Graduations and last year gave out Bibles to the graduates -all this at a public school.)When I am out in the public I will sometimes just stop what I am doing and just look at them and want to yell to them "people, please - do you know what is right around the corner?" as they go about their life with no clue. It is so sad.

I believe His worst day will be when He has to tell those whom He died for... "Depart from me, I never knew you." I think it will break His heart. My only hope is His grace. I am nothing and I need Him more and more each day. I pray He receives me and forgives me when He comes. God bless, DaveLovesJesus
