Is the Tribulation for you?

There has been alot of confusion, and debate over the order and timing of end time events. There is a very good reason for this. WE MISSED OUR CALCULATIONS BY 3 1/2 YEARS...
Quote:

DANIEL 12:11 aND FROM THE TIME THAT THE DAILY SACRIFICE SHALL BE TAKEN AWAY, AND THE ABOMINATION THat maketh desolate BE SET UP there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Consider the following... This scripture gives us a 3 1/2 year time split BETWEEN THE stopping of the sacrifices, and the AOD. If this is true, and we know the sacrifices are stopped in the "midst" of the 70th week, Then wouldn't that put the Aod at the end of the seven year period?? But if THIS IS TRUE, AND WE KNOW THE aod BEGINS THE "GREAT TRIBULATION PERIOD" DOESN'T THAT MEAN, that the true day of the Lord FOLLOWS the 70th week, and in no way or form be a parrt of it? The 70th week of Daniel is called "the time of "jacob's trouble", while the DAy of the Lord is Labeled, the "time of the Heathen", or the time the Lord repays for what they have done to his people. These are two seperate time frames the Lord deals with two totally different sets of People.

We will be here through the 70th week, but we are not destined for God's wrath, which follows it!

Just my :2cents

Equating the "righteousness" of God, that we all DO freely have imputed to us, with correction, through things we all must suffer to "grow" in grace and in knowledge is not a good idea.

God corrects every child He has received. That does not mean the person has less an amount of "righteousness".

The tribulation is for correction, on the most part...just like it is used in the bible in that fashion in just about every case. Nowhere is it equated to God's wrath...we are PROMISED tribulation, because we are also promised to be corrected...until we use the biblical words in the way they were put down in black and white this confusion will continue. One thing is for sure, ALL of us need correction in some fashion, otherwise, He says we are not His.

Amen Jewel - The tribulation is about God showing his glory through his servants just as he did with Noah and his family, Moses and the Israelites coming out of Egypt and many other instances and isn't he able to protect you as well?

The tribulation will be God's greatest display of love and power seen through his own and destruction to those that do not love God. People are confusing God's wrath with the wrath of satan and mankind. Those that hate God will hate Christians like at no other time. Remember our brothers and sisters that died for the faith at the beginning of the New Covenant?

In Messiah,
Michael
Isaiah 26:9 At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

He never promised any of HIS people physical protection from satan. That is why many suffer and die in the name of Christ, by the enemies of God, over and over throughout church history, and the greatest of tribulation is not going to be any different. Yes, I agree with you. When we change the definition of "words", we change the meaning of the bible, in mho. Tribulation never means God's wrath...although He has used it, as a tool to correct His people, over and over...throughout history, and will do likewise in the near future, in mho...Jesus said, "in this world we would have tribulation". It is a very much needed thing for a christian. He bought us with His blood freely, but, He teaches us through trials, tribulations, and thereby bringing us closer to Himself, whereas to present us as that cherished "diamond" brought through the fires of life, in this world. A diamond without the fire put to it, does not shine.

Exactly.

When God allowed satan to test Job, Job came out perfected by the fires of tribulation.

God's wrath has always been in this earth through judgements...of reaping and sowing.

Men reap what they themselves sow...

So, do the righteouss, which is usually persecution, being hated, and even dying for His name, to bring glory to God.

That does not mean, one must die....in the physical way, but, if one is prepared for that, they will be used for that.

To whom much is given, much is required...and, to whom is not, less is required.

Those who are post-Trib probably don't expect to live to see Christ's coming; they have probably resigned themselves to thinking that they will have to be resurrected when the time comes, since they know that most people will die. (Which is quite true for the Tribulation believers, since only a small minority will still be alive when Jesus returns to rule the world at the end of the Trib.) There is not a single verse that tells us clearly at what point the Rapture will occur; instead, the clues are scattered throughout God's Word. We have to study the Bible diligently to find the answers.
I believe I will see Christs' return, if He wants me to. If not, I won't. You can claim that you will see it, but you may die first.

Not true. Read Revelation, Matthew 24. AFTER the tribulation, Jesus will return. AFTER Jesus returns comes the first resurrection.
Take heed that no man deceive you.
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
