Hi Everyone,

I am so happy that the Lord is touching people through the message He gave me. All I want is to serve Him somehow with my life. Yes, SpiritIsWilling, you certainly needed to get out of that mixed spiritism environment. It would only allow false things to creep in unnoticed, you have done the right thing. As for being sent back to them: If that is what the Lord is telling you to do, he has in mind the ones he wants to be taken out of there and he will supply you with the words to use, you will know who is receptive and who is not when the time comes.

Lazarusty, as for the legalism of not working on Sunday. Ever since my first job when I was 18. I put on my application that I was available all week and Saturday but not available on Sunday because I was busy on Sunday at church. Then whenever the boss would schedule me to work on Sunday, it became a test for me. Would I work just because the boss scheduled it or would I protest and not go? I would call the boss and tell him, "I was hired even though my application said I wasn't available on Sunday, you know that and it's your own fault for scheduling me for Sunday."

The next job I did the same thing. I couldn't put that I was available on Sunday because I am not. The boss would eventually schedule me for Sunday and I would call in and tell him that I was hired knowing I could not work on Sunday, that it was my Sabbath and I would not come in as scheduled. Then the boss would lower my hours in response. lol! Every single job I had, I took a cut in hours because of this issue. I still refuse to allow Mammon to be the God of my Sabbath and I don't consider it legalism, I consider it keeping the fourth commandment. "Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy." If I was to call Saturday the Sabbath, then I would have told the boss I couldn't work on Saturday, but as I go to church on Sunday, that is the Lord's day. I have given it to him regardless of what happens to me because of my conviction.

This is my personal conviction, I have never judged my Mom for working on Sundays for eight years at her job, nor have I judged anyone else for working on Sunday. However, during the eight years my Mom worked on Sunday, she stopped going to church all together and became a slave to Mammon and eventually the boss scheduled her for every Sunday for eight years! When she finally wanted to go to church with me on Sunday, she told the boss that she was going to church on Sunday now, so he lowered her hours to eight hours a week, just as he had done with me (we both worked at the same place.) And they doubled her work load, just like the Pharaoh did to the Israelites in Egypt by eliminating their allotment of straw and doubling their workload. When she was unable to do the job of two people they wrote her up, and she quit because the job was no longer worth driving to. We have all suffered because of discrimination against Christians. It happened to Daniel and his sons when they wouldn't worship false gods or eat meat sacrificed to idols and it happens today if it is your personal conviction, the false god's are alive and well and worshipped in America and it is considered abnormal to observe the Sabbath day and to keep it holy. My boss used to try to convince me by saying that there were other Christians who worked there and they didn't mind working on Sunday. I told him that wasn't the issue, the issue was that I couldn't work on Sunday, and he knew that when he hired me.

I also almost got fired for giving a homeless man water whenever he would ask for it (Jesus in distressing disguise) or when I used to feed the homeless the left over food that we had to throw away. But I recognized these for what they are, a test as to what God I truly serve. I don't do these things out of a spirit of legalism, but out of a heart that loves Jesus Christ above money. The Lord knows about this sacrifice and my reward is in heaven for it now, I wouldn't give it up for all the money it was worth, the money wouldn't have been enough. Money means absolutely nothing to me or my family.

As for the issue of legalism, Jesus Christ didn't come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. Do Christians today try to keep the Ten Commandments anymore as the Israelites did? Would they allow themselves to be thrown to the lions or in the furnace to avoid sinning against God? Is this kind of devotion to God to be found today? Will God reward a person for having this kind of devotion to Him? Even if I were to take you at your word and try to "Be Free" as you put it, I could not budge on my position on this issue. Litterally my legs would not move on Sunday morning if I was supposed to drive to work. I would feel a wrenching in my spirit and in my stomach. I am actually repulsed at the thought of it, just like you would be if you were to bow down to a statue of Baal. I would rather be thrown into the furnace.

I have an obvious question that someone would ask...

Could this message mean California? I'm not saying it does, but is that a possibility with what we've heard as of late?

God bless,
