for your discernment....... Can God Raise The Dead - After Cremation? Dorothy Hedlund St. Louis Missouri USA Mobilize the Prayer Teams and Give The Glory to Jesus! Believing for a resurrection, based on Spirit's leading - My son, Will (age 25, just married to his Rachel-bride 8/4/07), moving to Maui - called to sing happy birthday to me (Sunday 6/22). It was the last time I'd hear his voice (for a while). Mom had triple bypass heart surgery (Monday 6/23) ... the same day he was involved in a diving accident and drown. About the same time frame they were starting mom's heart up again, his heart was stopping. Others found him an hour later, taking him to shore, where paramedics (miraculously) started a heartbeat with meds. He was without oxygen that long, with permanent damage to heart, brain, lungs, and kidneys. Maui Memorial did a valiant job of keeping him alive on support systems until my husband arrived - yet words from the Lord concerning a 'WHOLE MAN HEALING' continued coming in. Before long, we were connected with a network of people which spanned the United States, and has now gone down into Argentina, Europe, Africa, and many other places, as well. God was up to something. Phil Driscoll called ICU and prayed a prayer of LIFE into his body (by cell phone, placed at Will's ear). Each time someone prayed for him, his blood pressure went up. Was he brain dead? They weren't certain. He did pass away Wednesday morning (6/25). I received the news en route to see mom in the hospital, stopping in a parking lot to sob, then receiving the following word from the Lord, an hour later - "We're not done yet ..." I heard someone say. (me) - Who are You? I asked. (He) - The Spirit of God. (me) - If You give me something to believe, to receive, I will believe it. My 'believer' is still 'booted up.' What do You want me to believe?' I asked. (He) - "In the raising ... of the dead," He paused, letting me take it in. Continuing, He said, "I've been with Will from start to finish through this Valley of the Shadow of Death, as his Comforter and Friend. I do not speak with you to torment. I speak with you also as Comforter and Friend. WE'RE NOT DONE YET. He WANTS to come back. He was overwhelmed by the messages received from the hearts of others as he seemed to sleep. He was making the choice of whether to 'come back' or 'remain' (for he'd been given a choice). He CHOSE TO LIVE, yet submitted to the Father's ways. WE'RE NOT DONE YET, and I want you to believe that this day." _______ The Spirit Encourages 'Resurrection Prayer' - No sooner had the Spirit of God spoken this to me, but that phone calls of a 'resurrection word' given to others started coming in. The word of the Lord given to me was but a confirmation - and so we began to believe. Across the United States, we began to believe, even as more and more joined in by the hour. A 14-year boy said, "I'm going to pray for resurrection...' his family began fasting. Two of Will's friends in Maui said, "I think his body's going to be healed, then his spirit and soul are going to come back in..." A prayer captain in St. Louis said a shadow passed over her while in prayer at our church, there alone, and she felt an unction to pray for resurrection as soon as word came in that all vital signs were gone. And it goes on and on... A conference group in Knoxville, TN, this past week found out about it, then coordinated a 'cell phone connection' to the Maui morgue, speaking LIFE into his body-man. So far the Lakeland Healing Revival reports 27 being raised from the dead since April. A friend said, "So, why not us?" Will's brother, Andy, received word of a Word (Philippians 1:21-26) - "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I'm to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful gain. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know what to do. I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith - so that through my being with you AGAIN - your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me." Shortly thereafter, two other brothers, Phillip and Joel, looked up Phil. 1:21 on their computer, finding cross-reference to Galatians 2:20 - the SAME VERSE TATOOED on Will's arm with a cross, his life verse. A Massive Coordination Is Taking Place - (angelic message) The morning after his passing, an angel of the Lord came into the bedroom where I was, speaking these words: "A massive coordination has been taking place in heavenly realms. You and others have pressed through in prayer, stirring many things. It's going to be all right. I want you to know - it's going to be all right. Everything is in order, HIS order .. and HE is orchestrating things. Captains and generals (angelic realm) - have been given their orders, and even now are completing things. Out of the dust of the earth your Father brought forth Adam, even as from the dust, the dead in Christ will rise. Do not be concerned about what you see before your eyes. All things regarding your son, who still lives, ARE IN ORDER ... not 'out of order' - as He orchestrates all things. The more people brought into it, the more Glory it brings. This is why so many have been brought into it - all connected to the Father by 'prayer lines' for your son. You will see, in Spirit, an explosion of glory in the heavenlies, even as by transit lines of Spirit - it radiates out to each of these. When the Creator has determined to do something 'for the Glory of His Name' - all the less, then, will it depend on man. For the sake of His Name, that His glory return to the Church, this has been 'set up.' REST, dear one, in the knowledge that ALL THINGS ARE IN ORDER, and tell others to do the same." _______ [This is but part of the story. I'll not take the time nor space to describe all that was seen in Spirit during those days. Twice I was taken in spirit by the Spirit into the ICU room in Maui. I saw my son. And then, he died. At the very point of his cremation yesterday (6/27) which I didn't know about - I was taken into the throne room, driving down the road - to see him. Highlights of this account follow ... a last part to date ... as for some strange and glorious reason, we're left with but 'ashes' now - yet continue to believe for something beyond comprehension...] I'm Coming Back - Friday, June 27, 2008 - In spirit transport, I found myself on the Great Stage before the Throne of God, where dancers in victorious abandon were praising God. I first saw my sister (deceased '98) coming up, then past my right shoulder, quickly speaking into my ear: "HE'S COMING BACK.." Then just as quickly coming up to my left side, speaking into my ear was Will's cousin (deceased while yet in teens, some 30 years ago, also drowning) - who said, "HE'S COMING BACK." I asked, "Where's he at?" And then I saw him (my son), at last. He was wearing his white wedding tux, headed my direction; he and his 'Rachel-bride' had been married less than a year ago (8/4/07), staying in Maui, both working for The Dive Shop. His blue eyes met mine as he smiled, saying, "I'M GOING BACK..." - even as he then turned to join with the others in victorious dance, even as I did. I then saw Jesus approach us. He looked at Will and said, "It's almost time to go back to your bride..." Pausing, He added, "Mine is here..." (winking at me). It was a moment of glory, glory, glory - the fatigue of my body, mind and soul instantly energized with faith. [All this occurring, even in the midst of his cremation.] We're resting in the Lord, open to receive - My daughter-in-law and her parents return tomorrow (Sunday 6/29) with his ashes ... a 'free flight' for 'him.' There's an odd, weird, unexplainable continuance of prayer going on yet ... for a resurrection. It's not hard to believe. Grace is carrying me. A couple days ago Jesus explained to me that Will had been created with 2 SETS OF BODY PARTS (one 'tagged' and kept in the storeroom of heaven with his name) - since before his creation, knowing he'd need both sets. John 11:4 - Jesus told Lazarus' sisters and friends - "This sickness (desperate event) WILL NOT END IN DEATH. No, it is for God's Glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it. (5) Jesus loved Martha, her sister, and Lazarus - yet He stayed where He was, two more days. (In fact, Jesus arrived on Day 5, even as He explained to the weeping and wondering) - "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" The 'sting of death' has been taken away ... even as we remain in a state of expectant, living, and hopeful faith ... completely at peace with what the Lord wants to do through all of this. When I first saw this a week or so back, on Endtime Prophetic Vision, my thought was that if the testimony is for real, the resurrection being promised to this grieving parent is not a special resurrection just for her son, but rather the resurrection presented to us in 1 Thessalonians 4:16. In other words, this could be one more indicator of how close we are to the rapture of the church. |
