Maybe some "Fruit of the Spirit" should be displayed on this thread and not so much determination to have the last word. We could always agree to disagree and if we sincerely believe someone else is wrong in their interpretation of God's word, instead of dogged determination to prove them wrong, maybe we should pray for them. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. And maybe I am wrong to give my opinion, but after all it is my opinion and no one has to agree with it. Proving someone wrong doesn't always make you right, it just means you conformed them to your way of thinking. We are to be conformed to God's way of thinking and proving it to someone else is our job to the extent that they will accept it. To correct someone when they are wrong or lead in the wrong direction, should be done with the Fruit called Love by the direction of the Holy Spirit. Then it is up to the individual to agree or disagree as he or she allows the Holy Spirit to lead them. If they truly allow themselves to be lead to truth, and truly want to know the truth, then the Holy Spirit will do the proving. Just my thoughts, right or wrong. Laurel |

The Holy Spirit is working in all of us to bring us into Truth. Sadly the gonging sound we all make at times drowns out His convictions of truth when we minister in a spirit of Pride.Lord Jesus, cause us all to minister by your Spirit alone. Amen. |

Is it so hard to have a civilised conversation where we discuss our individual thoughts and opinions  We are all at different stages of our walk with Christ here, lets remember that as it is important. Notadoc you obviously have knowledge of the Bible we could all benefit from but unfortunately your dictatorial attitude alienates us from you. Please lets try and humble ourselves before God, He is obviously showing us something as a group regards true and false prophecy, lets honour Him and start behaving with respect towards one another and listen to what God is saying. Do we have teachable spirits or are we hypocrites ??? penny |

Hi Laurel, I read this today and thought it might be of interest to you given the experience you had. OREGON AT GREATER RISK FOR LARGE QUAKE THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT: I believe this to be so very true. Observations of seismograms from central Oregon coastal region indicate tremors on a daily basis while the rest of the coast for the states of Washington and Oregon are quiet. The research team found that the locked portion of the Cascadia Subduction Zone -- where the eastward-moving Juan de Fuca Plate plunges under the western-moving North American Plate -- extends beneath the Coast Range and as far as the western side of the Willamette Valley. The locked zone probably is wider than previously thought, although the new data give less information about the width. The researchers expected to find little movement because of the lack of earthquakes and previous data that showed little uplift in central-western Oregon, something commonly associated with a locked subduction fault. Instead, they found that the ground is moving nearly half an inch a year toward the northeast. The rapid velocity worries earthquake researchers and indicates that the underlying plates are locking up rather than sliding by each other, resulting in incredible strain. As the Juan de Fuca Plate presses forward to the northeast in the locked zone, it causes the piggybacking North American Plate to bulge upward and inland toward the northeast. The pressure continues to build for years until an earthquake unleashes the stress in one powerful jerk, causing the bulge to collapse and forcing the area to drop instantly. Thank you Jagger Rose, That is interesting information about Oregon. It is all the more reason to pray. I really don't know anything about Oregon, or Willamette "Valley", not even until I looked back at my post, how to spell Oregon, HAHA. And that Valley goes along with Willamette. I just know that those words came to my mind for no apparent reason. And I don't think anything happens by coincidence. I will continue to pray for Oregon. Joy in Jesus! Laurel |

Jaggar Rose, your post is VERY validating to me personally. (2 years ago it was shown to me that the West Coast would be shaken...as if to ripple.) I live in Oregon, just south of the Willamette Valley. Laural, thank you for the prayers for this area. They are greatly appreciated!! Please add California and Washington as well.... The fault runs all the way from Washington, down into Oregon...and into California. God Bless! |

ByGrace Your word of " as if to ripple" makes me think back to my "strange dream". It makes me think about how the ground in my dream seemed to ripple, and how the people in front of the monitors were looking at something and saying how it was happening in the weak area. Does that tie into this or is it just my thinking ? I will pray for revelation. Laurel |

laurel... Thank you for the reply. Please forgive me, but I haven't read your dream. Is it post here? The best way that I can describe the "ripple" is like when a person shakes out a throw rug, kind of snaps... the rug waves, as if to ripple. I will take a look to see if your dream is posted here. |
