NOTADOC there was no reason for your attack on the members who have responded here, even if they have indeed missed it here calling them immature, ignorant and that they are deaf because of their idols was totally unnecessary, your point that you disagreed with them and that I did indeed did miss it here could have been made without your judgments on them. I am now warning you that another such attack will result in your posting priviledges being revoked here. As far as whether I apologized because of conviction of the Holy Spirit, this was actually not the case, it was my own flesh, I have still to get any kind of clear answer from Him about whether this prophecy is from Him, and I have been asking all day after I read all the remarks about how there was no date given, which is a true fact, the possiblity was left open that it wasn't for this flyby. I am assuming though NOTADOC that you believe you heard from the Lord that this prophecy is not of Him? |

Doc, In my private correspondence with Wil over this issue, I have found my brother to be totally surrendered and transparent before the Lord..with no agenda or motive to uphold himself as prophetic but only a true desire to be walking in the Lord's truth and totally submitted to His Wil. He is in the place of inviting the Holy Spirit to speak to him in regards to what the truth of this warning message is....was it from God? was it of himself? did he interpret it wrongly as a word for now? is it a word for a future event as others have pointed out? Now as far as I can see....Wil has every right to take some time to examine before God what the truth is...and I have every confidence in my humble submitted brother that once he is sure what is truth he will humbly inform us. Notadoc your discernment is not sovereign...neither is that of the other brothers and sisters in Christ who shared theirs with us on this thread...although I see only you are making the claim that you opinion on this is the final authority and the only one in accordance with Gods Truth.Thankfully Wil does not take offense at this arrogance..and is able still to prayerfully consider your opinion with that of his other brothers and sisters. Excellent fruit. I trust God to speak to my brother...and witness to him the truth on this matter...because Wil is purposed in his heart no matter what the personal cost to himself to speak only what is in accordance with Gods Truth.I'm sure he is grateful for others opinions...even yours absent of the judgments...and is taking them all before the Lord in his genuine endeavour to find Gods Truth in this matter. |

Dan I don't know the specific date, however I am sure it is this comet that I was told about, so it will probably happen within the next 2-3 weeks, perhaps this thursday the 11th, when it's at it's closest point to the earth. Notadoc, I personally find your holier than thou attitude contentious and tiresome. You exhibit a lack of humility and an attitude of contempt toward other forum members. Clearly there has been no timescale uttered from Wil with regard his word from the Lord, but sadly you seem overly enthusiastic to attribute one. I for one respect Wil and when the Lord places a burden so heavy as He has on Wil, I listen. Wil - you did give a drop dead date for this comet to hit. not here - but on real debates...you went over there, confidently told them this comet would hit, no if's and's or but's about it. you confidently told them it would definetely hit by June 19th because the Lord told you. you can deny it all you want - and make excuses for it, but i read it all over there. i was quiet when you were saying it in front of them, despite my unbelief that you really heard it from the Lord. You choose to say it all - and your "prophecy" (look up the real definition) didn't come to pass as you explained it, at all. I could spend some time looking for your exact words on RD- but that isn't necessary, you know how confident you were that this would happen. don't mistake this as condemnation - its just a reminder. you predicted this comet would hit by now because "the Lord told you" - and it didn't happen. are you going to deny your error and make excuses or are you going to pause and be still and accept you mistakes, ask the Lord to forgive you for speaking for Him and learn from this? i hope you make the right decision. talk to you later, Jz |

Jeremy the only thing I have to apologize for is being assumptious that God meant that the comet would hit during this flyby. The fact is though that I never heard an actual time period for when it'll hit, so it can hit at anytime during future flyby's, though most likely during the next one as I've heard that at the rate that it's breaking up there might not be much left of it for it's next visit. And yes, I do believe I have now heard from the Lord that it was Him speaking about this comet, which doesn't surprise me considering how sure I was that it had been Him, since yes this sheep does know His voice very well and just could not believe that it hadn't been Him speaking. |

The mocking hasn't ended...you used Amos 3:7 as your proof that God told you this specific comet "would" hit the earth...you gave until june 19th to prove this prediction...you put yourself on the line and spoke out...I don't think I'm giving irrational and unjust statements here. I agree you never heard a date - but you gave one, and now my peeps at Real Debates have a valid reason to keep up the mocking. i just hope they don't use your unsuccessful comet prediction and judge other Christians in their lives unfairly. Christ died for us all - including my internet pen-pals at Real Debates. we've all come to Christ differently - but God's love and mercy is the reason any of us could come to God. Forgiving and loving someone despite the mocking/persecution was one of Jesus's examples on how we should imitate Him in our lives. You can wait for the comet to come around again. None of us may be alive in 5 years though. I hope you take your own advise and pause before the Lord. I know reading all these hundreds of "prophecies" clouded my mind to the point where I just stopped and quit trying to understand everything. God is in control - just have peace in that for today. Dan the comet is said to have completely passed us on the 19th, so there would appear to be no chance of it hitting at this point. Jeremy I already stated why I believed the comet was going to hit on this flyby and apologized for making that assumption. The people at that site are aware of all this since they read here, if they want to mock for my assuming than they can go ahead, but they are aware that this cannot be considered a false prophecy yet. And also Jeremy I am aware that you are anti-predictive prophecy, however as I've stated before to you the bible is clear that God still does operate this way, again see the example of Agabus in Acts for a New Testament example of this, so therefore I have no problem in reading them or in even giving one if the Lord puts it strongly in me to do so. Again Jeremy doing otherwise falls into the caterogy of despising prophecies, something that we are told in scripture not to do (1 Thess.5:20, and yes this does also refers to predictive prophecies). So instead of rejecting them perhaps what you should do is seek the Lord's will when you hear one, if you really want to know whether it is of Him or not He will tell you. Okay I am going to close this thread now, pretty much everything that can be said on this has been said, Jeremy if you or anybody else wish to continue this discussion you can PM me. |
