Rather than starting a new introduction thread for myself, I just joined a discussion thread. I figure people will get to know me by my words and beliefs better that way. I do understand and accept these simple rule, Wil, and will be happy to conform to them because they are exactly what we should be doing as members of one Body anyway :) Mary Ellen |

Thanks for the welcome, Wil and Methuselah. I've used the handle for almost a decade now. I always post using that or my name so people will know who I am if they travel similar forums. Has grown in meaning for me over the years. I have lupus and several other autoimmune connective tissue diseases. When I asked God what part of the Body I am in, He just chuckled and said, "Think about it a moment, Mary." Connective tissue serves the Body by holding it together . . . disabled people serve the same function in the Body through prayer. We're gifted with the time to be able to pray for the rest of the members in more active parts of the Body doing the preaching, teaching, and physical care of others we can no longer do as we did once . . .
